The Broadfield Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Crawley, England. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Crawley Town F.C. The stadium is owned by Crawley Borough Council.
Between 2013 and 2018, the stadium was named the Checkatrade.com Stadium as part of a sponsorship deal. In late 2018, the stadium was renamed “The Peoples Pension Stadium” as part of a new sponsorship deal.
The North Stand is a terraced section behind one of the goals and is virtually identical to The South Stand, with the exception that the noisiest Crawley fans stand in the latter. The East Stand runs along the side of the pitch and houses the away supporters. The West Stand is the main stand in the ground and houses most of the club’s facilities.
Visiting supporters are situated on the North terrace where approximately 1,500 fans can be catered for. The facilities within the stand are basic but clean and the food is reasonably priced. There are a small number of seats made available to away supporters in the West Stand.
The Imperial pub is about 5 minutes walk away. It's situated right in the centre of Broadfield and it's postcode is RH11 9BA. I'm told that away fans are welcome and colours can be worn. Another option is the Half Moon on Brighton Road. Also a 5 minute stroll from the ground. If you're into Indian food, locals say that the bet curry in town is served up at The Downsman Pub. Worth a visit.
There is limited parking at the ground on a first come, first served basis, as well as free parking options nearby.
