Feyenoord away
Shame it was just a friendly against Feyenoord, would much rather be playing them in a European competition. However, a great win against a very strong team!
It was a great experience watching Saints play away vs Feyenoord at the De Kuip. Here we saw our pre-season hot streak extending to four wins from four games with a 3-1 victory over top-flight Dutch side Feyenoord.
Che Adam’s opener laid the foundations for a deserved victory at De Kuip, before Maya Yoshida and Sofiane Boufal added strikes of their own. There was a slice of luck about our opening goal, but nevertheless, Ralph Hasenhüttl will be pleased with another bright performance.
