Farewell White Hart Lane
Fourth and final visit to White Hart Lane. Not the result we were looking for today but we were robbed by the officials yet again. White Hart Lane, you will be missed.
Tottenham overcame the absence of leading scorer Harry Kane to secure a hard-fought win over us. Goals from Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli - the latter a penalty.
We lost in-form striker Manolo Gabbiadini to injury in the first half but gave a good account of ourselves in the second, at the start of which James Ward-Prowse scored from close range. But we were unable to gain parity as Tottenham's stubborn backline and industrious central midfield held us at bay.
This defeat leaves us 10th in the table. White Hart Lane, you will be missed.
