Derby day delight
Beating Portsmouth at Fratton Park 4-0 under the lights in a midweek cup game. I hope it isn't another 10 years before we play them again!
I will certainly never forget beating Portsmouth 4-0 to reach the last 16 of the Carabao Cup. Not to mention this being the first South Coast derby in 7 years and our first win at Fratton park since 1984!
Even though the hosts were ultimately well beaten, we were were very lucky not to have gone behind after a high-tempo start from Portsmouth.
The scenes in the away end were incomparable as Danny Ings scored twice, followed by goals from Cedric Soares and Nathan Redmond.
The South Coast really is red and white.
